If you do not see your desired class on the schedule it may be because the class is in session. To be notified when the next session class schedules become available sign up for our newsletter located at the bottom of our homepage!

We do not keep a wait-list for this class. It is first come first serve. we do not accept payment towards future classes that have not been scheduled.

PLEASE NOTE: Payment must be made upon sign up in order for your spot to be held. If you are mailing a check please email us at shannonvpw@gmail.com to let us know so that we are able to keep an eye out for it. No Refunds are given 7 days before the start date of the class. We do not take payments over the phone. The schedule is more easily accessible with a desktop or laptop computer.

First Time Student

All class paperwork found on our paperwork page of the website must be returned via email or by mail, prior to the class start date; even if it is a repeat class that you have taken multiple times. (Please contact us for mailing address)

FIRST TIME STUDENT

A first time student is for dogs that HAVE NEVER attended a class at Ventura Pet Wellness. Please enroll into the class below by clicking "sign up". Once you have enrolled into the class, please fill out the required paperwork specified below under "first time student". Payment must be received in order for your spot to be held.

RETURNING STUDENT

A returning student is for dogs that have attended classes at Ventura Pet Wellness. Please enroll into the class below by clicking "sign up". Once you have enrolled into the class, please fill out paperwork specifed below under "returning student". Payment must be received in order for your spot to be held.

Agility Class Schedule

Beginning Agility

Intermediate Agility

The 6 week class is $185

Handler must be 14 years-Adult
Dogs of all ages welcome!

Must be current on vaccines

Handlers 14 y/o to Adult (to attend class without supervision)

Beginning Agility Class Includes:

Agility Courses are a great way to train, exercise and bond with your dog as they learn to go over jumps, through tunnels, planks, weave poles and master agility obstacles. Bring lots of soft, easy to eat treats for your dog and a 4-6 foot leash Dogs must be on a flat collar, harness or gentle leader. No choke chains or prong collars.

Prerequisites: Recommend attending
Good Manners 1 & Good Manners 2 (not required)

Intermediate Agility

The 6 week class is $185

Handler must be 14 years-Adult

Dogs of all ages welcome!

Handlers 14 y/o to Adult (to attend class without supervision)

Intermediate Agility Class Includes:

Intermediate Agility is for dogs that have taken the Beginning Agility class but still need work with the equipment. Dogs are introduced to all Agility equipment in this class. Dogs may do off leash work in this class, if appropriate. Intermediate Agility must be taken twice before moving forward to Advanced Agility. Bring lots of soft, easy to eat treats for your dog and a 4-6 foot leash. Dogs must be on a flat collar, harness or gentle leader. No choke chains or prong collars.

Prerequisites: Requires permission from instructor to advance to next class

Advanced A Agility Class Includes:

This course is for dogs that are able to run courses with little or no instruction.

Students must have permission from the instructor for this class.

This class is for dogs that have successfully completed the following;

Beginning Agility, Intermediate Agility (twice), and Advanced B Agility and are very comfortable on the equipment.

Dogs will work off leash in this class. Bring lots of soft, easy to eat treats for your dog and a 4-6 foot leash. Dogs must be on a flat collar, harness or gentle leader. No choke chains or prong collars.
